Srinagar, Oct 08 : Home Minister Shri Amit Shah expressed gratitude to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their overwhelming support in the assembly elections.
He said that the BJP achieved the highest percentage of votes and secured the most seats in its history in the region.
“The people of Jammu and Kashmir have blessed the BJP with the highest percentage of votes in this assembly election and have given the BJP the highest number of seats in its history so far. For this, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Also, I congratulate all the workers of @BJP4JnK for their tireless hard work,” he said in a post on ‘X’
“Under the leadership of Modiji, BJP is committed to the development and security of Jammu and Kashmir. Making Jammu and Kashmir terror-free and developing it like other parts of the country is the top priority of BJP,” he added.
In J&K’s 90 assembly seats, the NC and Congress have won in 48, the BJP in 29 and the PDP in three. AAP’s Mehraj Malik has handed the Arvind Kejriwal-led party its first-ever electoral win in Jammu and Kashmir.—(News Vibes of india)
