Karnah: BJP National Spokesperson Tarun Chugh launched a scathing attack on the Mufti, Abdullah, and Nehru families, accusing them of being responsible for the destruction and stagnation of Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a public rally in Bangla Tingdar, Chug said these political dynasties exploited the region during their time in power, but the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has brought peace and ushered in a new era of construction and development.

Tarun chugh highlighted that under the Modi government, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir now hold books instead of guns and stones. He accused previous governments of sowing discord between different communities, particularly between Gujjars and hill tribes. However, he claimed that the BJP has created employment opportunities and restored peace and harmony in the region.

He assured that the BJP government would continue to prioritize the welfare of the poor, including increasing pensions and making special recruitment efforts in border areas. Promising further development, Tarun Chugh told the people of Karnah that voting for BJP would result in the construction of the much-needed Sadhana Tunnel and more job opportunities for the youth.
Tarun Chugh also touted the party’s achievements in healthcare, noting the increase in Ayushman Bharat health insurance coverage from ₹5 lakh to ₹7 lakh, and vowed to provide housing and land to those in need. He emphasized that the Modi government had granted Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to the hill communities, ensuring that their children could aspire to prestigious roles such as IAS and IPS officers.

Highlighting the success of government initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chugh said that tourism has reached record levels, and significant efforts have been made to boost the sector. Accompanied by BJP leaders Sunil Kumar Sharma, Shugat Ghayur, and Kupwara District President Javed Qureshi, Tarun Chugh ended by urging voters to support BJP candidate Muhammad Ardis Karnahi in the upcoming elections, claiming that peace and development remain the party’s top priorities.

Tarun Chugh reassured the media that no one could take away the Scheduled Tribe status from the hill communities and emphasized that people are increasingly supportive of BJP due to its development agenda in the region.
