In a sharp critique, Dr. Abhijeet Jasrotia, BJP Spokesperson and Prabhari for Social Media, described Rahul Gandhi as a “non-serious politician” who has failed to earn respect or credibility, not only among the opposition but even within his own party and from his allies. Dr. Jasrotia’s remarks came in response to a recent statement by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who suggested that Rahul Gandhi should focus on Jammu as he has been a major failure in Kashmir.
Dr. Jasrotia highlighted the growing sentiment across the political spectrum that Rahul Gandhi’s influence has waned significantly. “The irony is that no one, whether the opposition, his own Congress party, or his political allies, takes Rahul Gandhi seriously anymore. The country as a whole doesn’t take him seriously at all. The only people who seem serious about him are those conspiring against Bharat (India),” Dr. Jasrotia stated.
Further intensifying his criticism, Dr. Jasrotia referred to the recent controversy surrounding Rahul Gandhi’s pictures with U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who has been known for her anti-India stance. “Congress ka haath dushman ke saath” (The hand of Congress is with the enemy), he said, accusing Gandhi of aligning with forces hostile to India’s interests.
He added that such actions by Rahul Gandhi not only damage his own reputation but also raise serious concerns about the Congress Party’s position on national security. “At a time when India is progressing and emerging stronger on the global stage, those who are threatened by this progress seem to take Rahul Gandhi seriously. His association with individuals who challenge India’s sovereignty raises critical questions about his political alignment,” Dr. Jasrotia remarked.
Concluding his statement, Dr. Jasrotia assured the public that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the nation remain vigilant in safeguarding India’s progress from both internal and external threats. “Rahul Gandhi may be a non-serious politician, but the danger he poses, intentionally or not, is something we take seriously. The BJP is committed to ensuring India’s growth and protecting it from any detractors,” he said.
