UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 23: Under the supervision of General Observer, Assembly Constituencies 59-Udhampur West & 60-Udhampur East, S A Raman and General Observer, Assembly Constituencies, 61-Chenani & 62-Ramnagar, B C Sateesha, a comprehensive training of staff to be deployed as Micro Observers for smooth and transparent conduct of General Elections for Legislative Assembly 2024 was conducted in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai extended warm welcome to the General Observers and briefed about the importance of deploying Micro observers at the critical polling stations and ensure that all micro observers involved in the election process are well prepared and confident to handle their responsibilities effectively for conduct of free, fair and transparent elections.
The DLMTs imparted extensive training to Micro observers through PPTs, Hands-on practice of Electronic Voting Machines and regarding their role and responsibilities and discussed reporting format in detail.
The General observers instructed the trainees to perform their duty efficiently and strictly adhere to the guidelines of ECI.
Among others, Devinder Singh Bhau, Nodal Officer Postal Ballot CEO PDA and Darshan Kumar, Nodal Officer Training DSEO Udhampur were also present on the occasion.
