Srinagar, 22 Sep : Jammu and Kashmir government on sunday evening ordered posting of JKPS officer Harmeet Singh Mehta as Senior Supritendent of Police Bandipora.
According to an official order issued by Jammu and Kashmir Home department a cily of which is in possesion of news agency Kashmir Bulletin reads, In the interest of administration and pursuant to the approval conveyed by the Election Commission of India vide above referred letter, Shri Harmeet Singh Mehta (JKPS:2001), SSP Railways, Kashmir is hereby transferred and posted as Senior Superintendent of Police, Bandipora.
It is important to mention that, outgoing SSP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma was relieved from the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and is set to join the Parent cadre. (KB)
