Rajouri – In a distressing incident on Thursday evening, four soldiers sustained injuries, two of them critically, when their Army armada vehicle met with an accident in the Manjakote area of Rajouri district.

According to reports, the vehicle lost control and rolled down into a gorge while navigating the challenging mountainous terrain. Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene as local residents rushed to assist the injured soldiers before emergency services arrived.

The injured personnel were promptly evacuated and transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. Medical officials have confirmed that the condition of two soldiers remains critical, while the other two are being treated for less severe injuries.

The incident has raised concerns regarding road safety in the region, particularly for military vehicles operating in difficult landscapes. An investigation has been initiated by military authorities to ascertain the cause of the accident and prevent future occurrences.
