BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 17: Election Expenditure Observer for Bandipora District, Sudeep Dabas today conducted first inspection of Election Expenditure Registers of candidates for 14- Sonawari and 15- Bandipora Assembly Constituencies at Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
The inspection was aimed to confirm that all election expenditures remain within the prescribed limits.
The Expenditure Observer examined the records submitted by candidates to ensure compliance with the guidelines established by the Election Commission of India.
While inspecting the election expenditure registers of candidates, Sudeep Dabas emphasised adherence to the ECI guidelines and stressed the importance of maintaining accurate expenditure records besides urged the candidates to strictly follow the standards set by the Election Commission of India to uphold the integrity of the election.
The observer asked the ROs to issue notices to the candidates of their respective constituencies, who fail to produce election expenditure register.
Among others, Nodal officer Election Expenditure Monitoring, Sheikh Aabid, representatives of Contesting candidates and other concerned were present on the occasion.
