Ensuring Compliance with Election Expenditure Norms in Pulwama
PULWAMA, SEPTEMBER 16: In a continued effort to ensure transparency and adherence to election expenditure norms, Expenditure Observer for Pulwama, Shrikant N, carried out the third inspection of the expenditure registers of contesting candidates. The inspection was conducted as per the schedule already notified by the Returning Officers for Pampore and Tral Assembly Constituencies in District Pulwama.
The inspection, in collaboration with District Treasury Officer (DTO) Pulwama and Treasury Officers (TO) Pampore and Tral, was aimed at ensuring strict compliance with the expenditure regulations and procedures laid down by the Election Commission of India.
The process is pivotal in maintaining accountability and providing a level playing field for all candidates, thereby promoting a free and fair election process.
Shrikant N emphasized the importance of maintaining accurate expenditure records and urged the candidates to strictly follow the standards set by the Election Commission of India to uphold the integrity of the election.
