Assembly Elections-2024: Udhampur: Dogri SVEEP song inspires voter participation

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 15: District Election Officer, Saloni Rai, today released a Dogri SVEEP song “Vote Sare Pana” in presence of SDM Ramnagar Rafiq Ahmad Jaral here in Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

The song sung by young duo Singers Primta Rajput and Tamana Rajput has been composed to inspire voters across the district to exercise democratic right by casting their votes in the Assembly Elections.

The song has been conceived by Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, Returning Officer for the 62-Ramnagar Assembly Constituency and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ramnagar.

The DEO appreciated young performers, who are also first time voters, the SDM Ramnagar and the District Election Cell for reaching every segment of society through various outreach initiatives under the SVEEP program. While appreciating the lyrics and resonating message to the voters by the young singers, she said that the song will not only aware the women voters but also young voters.

She emphasized the importance of such creative efforts in enhancing voter awareness and fostering a transparent and inclusive electoral process.

Earlier, two SVEEP songs for the motivation of voters have been released by PK Pole, Chief Electoral Officer J&K and DEO Udhampur Saloni Rai, which are trending and appreciated by the voters.

The event marked a significant milestone in Udhampur District’s ongoing voter awareness campaign, which aims to maximize voter turnout and promote an informed and participatory electoral environment.
