Assembly Elections-2024: Training for Micro Observers held at Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 15 In preparation for the upcoming Assembly Election 2024, a training program for Micro Observers of Assembly Constituency (AC) 51 Bhaderwah was organized here at Dak Bungalow.

In all, 75 Micro Observers are being trained to oversee 196 polling stations in different parts of the constituency, ensuring that the election process is carried out efficiently and in accordance with the Election Commission of India’s guidelines.

The training session was led by Dr. Akhter Hussain Akhoon, District Nodal Officer for Trainings and Human Resources, who delivered a comprehensive presentation. He covered essential guidance on election procedures, the role of Micro Observers in maintaining transparency, and the correct handling of election materials, including Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) systems. The session aimed to equip the Micro Observers with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure smooth conduct on Election Day.

Present at the event was General Observer Mallikarjun, overseeing the training for AC-51 Bhaderwah. The Nodal Officer for Micro Observers and the Liaison Officer from R&B Bhaderwah were also in attendance, reinforcing the importance of coordination between different departments to ensure a fair and transparent election.

This initiative is part of the broader effort to ensure that the Assembly Election 2024 runs smoothly and that all officials involved are well-prepared to fulfill their responsibilities on polling day.
