KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 15: As part of the preparations for the upcoming General Election to the Legislative Assembly 2024, a series of Nukkad Nataks (street plays) were organized at prominent places of Kishtwar under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) awareness campaign.

The events, held at prominent locations such as General Bus Stand and Chowgan Ground in Kishtwar, were conducted under the leadership of District Election Officer, Rajesh Kumar Shavan. The street performances were expertly coordinated by Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, District Nodal Officer SVEEP, with enthusiastic participation from the Sangam Theatre Group.

Through captivating street performances, the Sangam group artists effectively communicated the significance of ethical voting to the local populace, stressing the principles of responsible and informed voting. The messages resonated with audiences, encouraging active and fair participation in the upcoming elections.

This initiative is part of a broader SVEEP campaign being conducted throughout the district to ensure maximum voter engagement.

The District Administration of Kishtwar is steadfast in its efforts to uphold electoral integrity and promote active civic participation.
