REASI, SEPTEMBER 14: Avi Prasad, the General Observer for AC-57 Reasi and AC-58 SMVD, participated in the training session organized here today for polling staff assigned to home voting duties. The training was held in the Government Higher Secondary School, Katra, under the supervision of Piyush Dhotra, Returning Officer for SMVD and SDM Katra.
The session was part of a comprehensive effort to ensure that staff were well-prepared to facilitate home voting, ensuring smooth and efficient operations on Election Day.
In addition to attending the training, Mr. Prasad conducted a field visit to Polling Stations 71 (Naleh Sarli) and 72 (Chamba Chandwa) in AC-57 SMVD. The inspection focused on verifying the accuracy of the voter list and assessing the progress in distributing voter slips to ensure all eligible voters receive their slips in a timely manner. This proactive oversight aims to guarantee that election preparations are on track and that every eligible voter has the opportunity to cast their vote efficiently.
