REASI, SEPTEMBER 12: In preparations for the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly-2024, the second Randomization of Polling Staff to be deployed at 436 Polling Stations across 3 Assembly Constituencies of Reasi District was held today in the presence of General Observer for AC-57 Reasi and AC-58 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Avi Prasad; General Observer for AC-56 Gulabgarh(ST) Saroj Kumar Sethi and DEO Vishesh Mahajan.
The personnel selected during the first randomization were assigned to different Assembly Constituencies. A database of 2140 employees was randomized and they were allotted different constituencies in the District. The Randomization process was conducted through dedicated Software as per the prescribed guidelines of the Election Commission of India ensuring fairness and impartiality in the selection of Polling Staff.
This second randomization involved a computerized process that ensures polling officials are placed randomly, reinforcing the credibility of the electoral process and preventing any bias.
Nodal officer Human Resource (ADDC) Sukhdev Samyal; Dy. DEO Reasi Rakesh Kumar; RO-57 Anshumali Sharama; Nodal Officer IT/ ETPBS Asheesh and others were present during the Randomization process.
