*September 12 mining Department Kulgam have seized 06 vehicles (04 Tractors & 02 Tippers) & arrested 06 persons involved in extraction & transportation of minerals from river Vaishow and other Nallahs.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Qaimoh and Police Station Devsar and further investigation have been initiated.
People are requested to come forward or Dial-112 regarding any information about illegal extraction and transportation of minerals. Police warns stringent action as per law against those whosoever found involved in such activities.“`
