The festivities commenced with the recitation of Sharda Namawali at the temple, followed by a ceremonial yatra led by Ravinder Pandita, Head of the Save Sharda Committee Kashmir. The procession moved towards Swami Nand Lal Ghat, where the pilgrims took a holy dip in the Kishenganga River and performed the Ganga Aarti.

A special highlight of the day was the live release of a devotional song dedicated to Sharda Mata by Athrot, broadcasted from LoC Teetwal by Ravinder Pandita. The symbolic Charri Mubarak yatra from the temple to the ghat underscored the significance of cross-LoC heritage and religious tourism.

In his address, Ravinder Pandita called upon the government to reopen the Sharda pilgrimage, which has been suspended since the partition.
