Srinagar, September 7, 2024 – In a landmark event for the District Court Srinagar, the Kashmir Advocate’s Association (KAA) organized a memorable farewell party for the Hon’ble Judges who have been transferred to other courts within the Union Territory. This significant event took place in the Common Bar Room of the Petition Writer’s Block at the District Court Srinagar, marking a first in the court’s history.
The farewell was designed to honor the contributions of the departing judges and to enhance the relationship between the bar and bench. The gathering saw a diverse group of attendees, including advocates, as well as court staff.
In his address, Adv Waseem Gul, President Kashmir Advocates Association highlighted the judges’ commitment to justice and their positive impact on the legal system in Srinagar.
