PULWAMA, SEPTEMBER 5: The General Observer for 34-Pulwama Assembly Constituency, Manoj Kumar today visited the Distribution cum Collection Centre located at Government Degree College Boys, Pulwama.
The visit was conducted in connection with the commencement of the commissioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) for Assembly Constituency 34-Pulwama.
The commissioning process, which began today, is being carried out under strict guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to ensure the highest level of transparency and security in the handling of EVMs and VVPATs. During the visit, the General Observer closely monitored the activities at the Centre, interacting with the candidates and their representatives and representatives of political parties, officials and engineers present and reviewed the adherence to the ECI’s protocols.
