GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 04: A SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) outreach programme was today held at BHSS Hariganwan (17-Kangan ST) under the guidance of the District Election Officer.
The District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Nodal Officer SVEEP of Assembly Constituency 17-Kangan were present, along with BLOs of the Hariganwan Circle, Supervisors to BLOs, BAG members, and Chunav Patshala members.
During the event, the District Nodal Officer SVEEP emphasized the importance of high voter turnout in the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024, particularly in tribal areas. Special focus was placed on encouraging increased participation from all eligible voters, with a particular emphasis on women, who actively participated in today’s programme.
The programme aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voting and to mobilize voters in tribal areas to ensure their voices are heard in the upcoming elections. The active participation and enthusiasm of the attendees underscored the commitment to a vibrant democratic process.
