SRINAGAR SEPTEMBER 03:- In preparations to the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly-2024, the first Randomization of Polling Staff to be deployed at 932 Polling Stations in all Eight Assembly Constituencies across Srinagar District was held today at Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.
The Randomization process was held under the supervision of District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat in presence of the concerned Officers.
The Randomization process was conducted through a dedicated Software as per the prescribed guidelines of Election Commission of India ensuring fairness and impartiality in the selection of Polling Staff.
A database of 12900 employees was Randomized which includes around 55% of reserve staff in order to meet any exigency.
Deputy District Election Officer Srinagar, Mir Imtiyaz ul Aziz, Nodal Officer IT/ ETPBS, Syed Mujadid and other concerned were present during the Randomisation process.
