SRINAGAR: The soldier who was injured in a militant attack on the Sunjwan Army Camp in Jammu succumbed to his injuries on Monday, officials said.
The soldier had sustained serious injuries during the attack and was immediately evacuated to a hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his wounds.
Earlier, militants carried out an attack on the Army Base Camp in the Sunjwan area. The Army retaliated, and additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area. (KDC)
