SRINAGAR, Sept 01:
The three-day Green Valley Model United Nations (GVMUN) 2024 culminated on Sunday at the Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) campus. During the concluding ceremony, participating students from various schools were felicitated for their participation in the event.
The students were honored by senior journalist Peerzada Ashiq, who was the Chief Guest at the occasion, in the presence of Principal GVEI M D Zargar.
While addressing the gathering, Zargar highlighted the significance of such events in bringing students from different institutions together. He noted that these events not only unite students on a single platform but also broaden their horizons and transform their perspectives on various global issues.
“We are thankful to the management of the participating students for their cooperation and for being an integral part of this program,” he said.
The Chief Guest, Peerzada Ashiq, in his address, underscored the importance of events like GVMUN in shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.
“Such platforms help students become fierce and active participants in discussions, preparing them for the challenges ahead,” he said.
He said that such events provide an early understanding of diplomacy and politics.
He encouraged the continuation of such events and congratulated the GVEI management for their initiative.
