The Srinagar District Fencing Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, organised the 8th Srinagar District Fencing Championship21st to 22th August 2024 at Indoor Sports Complex Srinagar.

The 2-day long event saw the participation of 70 players including boys and girls from different Government and Private schools of Srinagar participated in Epee, Foil and Sabre events.

Nusrat Gazala, Divisional Sports Officer (Kashmir), J&K Sports Council, was the chief guest on the occasion while Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar and others were among the guest of honours. PEM and NIS qualified coach, Raziya Sultana was the Organising Secretary of the event. Technical expert Vansh Mahajan officiated the bouts.
Srinagar District Fencing Association President Aiyaz Ahmad and General Secretary Sameer Muzaffar Mir congratulated all the medal winners and congratulated the whole organizing committee for successfully conducting the said Championship.

Open Sabre Boys results: -Numaan secured Gold while as Zakir won Silver. The Bronze went to Amaan and Shabir.
Open Sabre Girls results: – Saika secured Gold while as Shaista secured Silver. The Bronze went to Lovleen and Adeeba.
Open Epee Boys results: – Taskeen secured Gold while as Sharif secured Silver. The Bronze went to Danish and Sameer.
Open Epee Girls results:- Mehak secured Gold while as Romana secured Silver. The Bronze went to Zainab.
Open Foil Boys results:- Suman secured Gold while as Muneeb secured Silver. The Bronze went to Danish and Inayat.
U-19 Sabre Boys results:- Aarif secured Gold while as Mudasir secured Silver. The Bronze went to Novdeep and Asif.
U-19 Sabre Girls results:- Haniya secured Gold while as Sadiya secured Silver. The Bronze went to Sundas.
U-19 Epee Girls results:- Fatima secured Gold while as Zainab secured Silver. The Bronze went to Sauliya.
U-17 Epee Girls results:- Aamina secured Gold while as Shahreen secured Silver. The Bronze went to Sadiya and Aaidah.
U-12 Sabre Boys results:- Hameem secured Gold while as Ziyad secured Silver. The Bronze went to Hamzah.
