Jammu, Aug: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is eyeing a big win in the coming elections to Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), said senior party leader Ravinder Raina on Sunday.
According to Raina, who spoke to the media in Jammu, as per the news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC), said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been unprecedented development and peace in the region.
“BJP works like a family unit, and with the people’s support, the party is all geared up for a historic victory,” said Raina.
Similarly, prominent BJP leader Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi also stated that the party is fully prepared for the elections and shall contest all constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir.
She added the day when the people of Jammu and Kashmir would get the opportunity to work along with their government was awaited for long, but it is very near now. “Our comprehensive five-year plan aims at taking Jammu and Kashmir to unprecedented heights of development and prosperity,” Dr. Andrabi said.
Notably, the Jammu BJP function was also significant as Choudhary Zulfikar, former Minister and heavyweight leader from Rajouri-Poonch, was inducted into the party fold.—(KNC)
