Sopore Police recovers missing trio from Gujarat: People appreciate the good work.

Sopore, 12 August 2024:

On 05/8/24 during evening hours, the Principal of Darul Uloom (Mahrajpora) Sopore submitted a written application to Police station Sopore, reporting that three students enrolled with his Darul uloom namely 1. Abdul Waheed Dar S/O of Gh Mohd Dar R/O Patoosa Rafiabad, Baramulla (Age 22yrs) 2. Mohsin Bashir Chohan S/O Bashir Ahmad Chohan R/O Batpora Bandipora (Age 22yrs) and 3. Fazil Ahmad Sheikh S/O Mohd Yousuf Sheikh R/O Beerwa Ahangam, (Age 18yrs) Budgam, are missing since August 3, 2024.

A missing report was entered in the daily diary, and efforts were started to trace the missing persons.

A special team headed by SHO Sopore Insp. Ayaz Geelani under the supervision of SDPO Sopore Shri. Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS was constituted by SP Sopore Smt. Divya-D (IPS) to trace the missing persons. Based upon the advanced technical inputs, the trio was traced in Gujarat. Subsequently a team from PS Sopore was deputed to Gujarat who recovered the missing trio.

The missing students revealed that tight schedule of the Dar ul Uloom Compelled them to take such decision.

People are appreciating the efforts of Sopore Police.
