The current encounter has seen a renewed effort by the forces to corner and neutralize the terrorists, who are reportedly holed up in the upper reaches of the area.

The operation has prompted the authorities to establish a tight cordon around the affected zone, with heightened security measures in place for surrounding regions.

Sources told Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the terrorists are heavily armed, adding to the complexity of the operation. The situation remains dynamic, and security forces are utilizing all available resources to bring the encounter to a resolution.

As the operation continues, local residents are advised to stay alert and follow official guidance. Updates on the situation will be provided as more information becomes available.— (KB)
