Kupwara Police organizes Painting Competition as part of Independence Day celebrations 2024

Kupwara, August 10: In the lead-up to the Independence Day celebrations, District Police Kupwara organized a Painting Competition today at the District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the district, competing in various age categories, including Primary, Middle, High School, and Higher Secondary levels.

SSP Kupwara Shri Shobith Saksena-IPS, was Chief Guest on the occasion and inaugurated the competition. In his address, SSP Kupwara said that the event has been held in celebration of Independence Day and recognizing the artistic talents among the district’s school children. He implored on the importance of providing young artists with a platform to express their creativity and showcase their artistic skills.

The competition, conducted with great zeal and fervor, concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. The young artists who secured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in the different categories were awarded trophies and cash prizes, encouraging them to continue honing their talents.

The event was also attended by Additional SP Kupwara Gh. Mohd Bhat, JKPS and DySP DAR Kupwara Syed Mujahid-ul-Haq, JKPS along with other officers and officials of the district police.“`
