MULTINATIONAL MILITARY EXERCISE KHAAN QUEST 2024 CULMINATED AT ULAANBAATAR

The multinational military exercise KHAAN QUEST 2024 culminated with a grand closing ceremony at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia today. The exercise brought together military forces from around the world to collaborate and enhance their peacekeeping capabilities.

The Chief Guest for the ceremony was HE Mr Byambatsogt Sandag, Minister of Defence, Mongolia. On behalf of the Indian Army, Brigadier Arun Awasthy attended the ceremony.

Throughout the duration of the exercise, the Indian Army contingent engaged in a variety of joint training exercises and simulation scenarios, including convoy protection, cordon and search operations, protection of civilians, among others. The joint training sessions and simulation scenarios have been instrumental in honing the capabilities of the Indian Army personnel and preparing them for future peacekeeping missions.

The exercise provided the participants with opportunity to share and learn from each other’s best practices and enhance their joint peacekeeping skills. The engagements not only enhanced the tactical skills of the participants but also deepened the enduring friendship between the armed forces of the participating nations.

Exercise KHAAN QUEST 2024 has been a testament to the professionalism, dedication and commitment of the Indian Army to global peacekeeping efforts. The lessons learnt and the partnerships forged during this exercise will undoubtedly contribute to the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts to maintain global peace and security.
