BARAMULLA, AUGUST 07: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa today led a spirited ATV Tiranga rally on Gulmarg-Tangmarg Road from Tangmarg to Kunzer in the run up to the Independence Day 2024.
The event witnessed massive participation of locals, presenting a vibrant display of national pride and unity.
The rally commenced from Tangmarg and traveled through scenic routes on GT Road, reaching Kunzer before returning to Tangmarg. Participants including Chief Executive Officer Gulmarg Development Authority, Waseem Raja, Sub Divisional Magistrate Gulmarg, Syed Altaf, local residents, other officers and officials, proudly displayed the national flag and engaged in the celebratory atmosphere.
In a media briefing following the rally, DC emphasized the importance of the event in fostering community spirit and patriotism. He expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic participation and highlighted the rally’s role in enhancing national pride as the country approaches Independence Day.
