Approves 620 cases for establishment of Income Generating Units by progressive farmers
SRINAGAR, AUGUST 07: A meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) on Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) was today held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat here at Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner, who is also the Chairman of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) approved fresh 620 applications of various projects under HADP for establishment of Income Generating Units by progressive farmers/beneficiaries in Srinagar District.
The fresh 620 cases approved today include 509 applications of Agriculture, 10 applications of Horticulture, 60 applications of Animal Husbandry, 17 applications of Sericulture Department, 24 applications of sheep Husbandry.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of all the line Departments about the implementation of HADP in the District
The DC emphasized the importance of these projects in achieving sustainable Agricultural growth.
He instructed all the line Departments to achieve physical and financial targets well in time.
Besides, Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, GM DIC, Hamida Akhtar, Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad, Chief Agriculture Officer, Manohar Lal, the meeting was attended by Officers of line Departments and other concerned.
