RAJOURI, AUGUST 05: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat today chaired a review meeting of various schemes being implemented by the Science & Technology Department in the district.

During the meeting, the discussion focused on the saturation of one Tribal Village for distribution of solar home lighting system and bio mass cooking stoves among Tribal Population, PM-KUSUM, identification of 05 No. of Solar Villages for Saturation in District Rajouri (03 Tribal Villages and 02 Border Villages), PM-Surya Ghar Yojana, Bio Gas Plant Scheme, installation of Solar Street lights, Solar Lanterns, Solar Geysers etc. The concerned officers from Science and Technology Department briefed about the status of each scheme in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of close monitoring and coordination among the departments to ensure the successful implementation of these schemes. He emphasized the need for effective execution of these schemes.

The meeting was attended by the GM DIC, Fareed Kohli; CPO, Maqsood Ahmed; ACP, Sheraz Chowhan; DSHO, PP Sagotra; EXEN PDD Rajouri, Mohammad Rashid; EO MC Rajouri and other concerned officers.
