Police carries out bhang destruction drive in Ganderbal, Budgam
August 03: Continuing its efforts to eradicate menace of drugs from the society, police carried out bhang destruction drives in Ganderbal & Budgam districts.
In Ganderbal, the drive was carried out at Bamloora and in its adjacent areas especially on the banks of river Sindh by a police party led by SHO PS Ganderbal alongwith Municipal Council Ganderbal and Civil Society members.
In Budgam, the drive was carried out in Magam and Bonishah, Kantbagh areas of Kralpora. SHO PS Magam alongwith the Municipal Committee, Magam and Civil Society members were part of the drive. A similar drive was also carried out by police party of Police Post Mochuwa alongwith Incharge PP Mochuwa in their jurisdiction.
General Public is requested to come forward with any information regarding the cultivation of contraband substances or peddling of drugs & share the same with the nearest police establishment or Dial 112.“`
