SHOPIAN JULY 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Shopian, Faz lul Haseeb today chaired a meeting to review the progress of works under the District Capex Plan.
At the outset, DDC was apprised about the details of current years Capex Plan by officers including works taken up along with financial implications and their desired outputs.
The DC emphasized the need for efficiency in the project lifecycle, exhorting officials to expedite the estimation and tendering processes within the shortest possible time.
He stressed on timely completion of all developmental works, so as to prevent any public inconvenience and to ensure optimal utilization of resources available.
The DC directed the officers to strictly adhere to the established timelines to ensure that all projects planned for the current financial year are completed within the stipulated period.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ADDC Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad lone, Chief Planning Officer, ACD, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, BDOs, Executive Engineers, and other concerned.
