Today 27th of July 2024 a function was arranged by Mehtab Group of Hotels at Grand Mir Hotel , wazirbagh Srinagar. In the function all the top hoteliers and travelling agents of kashmir valley participated. The function had been arranged to facilitate the hoteliers and travel agents of kashmir who have rendered exemplary services in their respective fields.
Shri Ashok Bhat, District President Bharatiya Janata Party District Srinagar was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away the momenoes and citations to the outstanding performers.
While speaking on the Shri Bhat said, that tourism industry is the back bone of economy of our state and its success or failure impacts the common masses of the state. It is a trade which need calm and peaceful atmosphere for it’s success. The current Modi ji government has take every possible step for providing the required safety to the turists required for their attraction to the location. He further said, by positive initiatives of the government the footfall of turists is increasing in Kashmir day in and day out. He advised the Traders of the turist industry to be honest and loyal to their profession so that more and more turists visit Kashmir and our economy gets boost. He also reiterated that travell agents are mostly in direct contact with the turists and it is their behaviour and treatment the turists are taking to their native places. Therefore, they need to be pious, polite and honest with the turists so that their conversation is appealing for prospecting visitors to visit Kashmir in future.
