SRINAGAR, JULY 26: The Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed today convened a review meeting to evaluate the construction of the state-of-the-art modern abattoir currently under construction in Srinagar City.
The meeting, held at the SMC Central Office, was attended by the Joint Commissioner, Joint Commissioner (W), Municipal Veterinary Officer, Ex. Engineers, Law Officer, Officers from R&B, and SSCL.
Dr. Owais underscored the role of the new abattoir in enhancing the city’s infrastructure and aligning with contemporary standards for sheep and goat slaughter. The upcoming Abattoir is poised to revolutionize modern slaughter practices by emphasizing efficiency and upholding the highest levels of quality and safety standards.
The Commissioner issued clear directives to the officials, stressing the importance of completing the state-of-the-art abattoir within the specified timeframe.
