Mandi//Zonal Level Science Exhibition and a Seminar on the theme “Millets for health and Sustainable Planet “organised at Govt.Girls Higher Secondary School Mandi under the supervision of Smt.Anju Rishi Principal(Nodal Officer).Both the events inaugurated by Smt.Anju Rishi Principal.The Science Exhibition and a Seminar was held as a part of *. Rajya Statiya Bal Vigyanik Pardarshni.* In this event almost 45 students from six higher secondary schools and thirteen High Schools from Zone Mandi and Zone Sathra participated.Twenty working modals displayed by the students and adjudged by the jury members.The Jury team for Science Modals were:- 1.Smt.Baljeet Kour Lecturer HSS Fatehpur
2.Mtr.Farzana Anjum Lecturer HSS Boys Mandi
And
3.Mr.Waseem Sajaad Lecturer GHSS Mandi
The students of GHSS Mandi remained at first position,Second Position shared by the Students of HS Baila And HS Bedar respectively,The students of Fatehpur remained at Third position,Fourth position secured by HS Palera whereas the students of BHSS Mandi got Fifth Position in the competition.Similarly in Seminar competition 13 students participated.The jury team consists of Sh.Qadeer Ahmed Bhat Lecturer HSS Loran,Sh.Noor Mohd Lecturer HSS Arai and Sh.Abdul Ghani Headmaster High School Plera given judgement and in this competition Miss.Misbah Gulshan Student of GHSS Mandi Secured First position,The students of MHSS Sawjian and HSS Loran remained at 2nd Position whereas the student of HSS Arai got third position.Later the award ceremony was also organised at the end of the event.Certficates for participation/Positions awarded to the students by Smt.Anju Rishi Principal(Nodal Officer) on the occasion.She Also addressed the audience and elaborated about organising the Science Exhibition and Seminars in the institutions.She said that when the students availed these opportunities they express their hidden talent and bring new ideas for the betterment of society.She briefed that Millets are very beneficial for the health of common masses.She encouraged and appreciated the efforts of Escort teachers and participant students and wished for their bright future.
Mr.Qadeer Ahmed Bhat and Choudhary Qasim Kohli also spoke on the occasion and gave valuable tips for the welfare of the students.
