Baramulla, July 22: Police claimed to have arrested 2 more accused, rescued 3 more minor females in Human Trafficking Racket case of Ushkara Baramulla.

Total of 4 accused arrested, and 7 minor females have been rescued so far in the case

During further investigation of case FIR No. 173/2024 under relevant sections of law registered in PS Baramulla, it was found that one Ghulam Mohammad Khan, son of Ab Rehman, resident of Narbal & Manzoor Ahmad Shah son of Gh Mohammad resident of Janbazpora, were also involved in the trafficking and exploitation of minor girls from outside the UT.

A police party of Police Station Baramulla headed by SHO PS Baramulla, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, arrested the accuseds, who were shifted to Police Station Baramulla, and further recovered three minor victim girls, who are from Rohingya, Burma.

Pertinent to mention that 2 accuseds from Baramulla were arrested and 4 minor females were rescued during the initial investigation of the case.

This operation demonstrates the commitment of the Baramulla Police to combating human trafficking and ensuring the safety and dignity of vulnerable individuals.
