Kupwara,22 July 2024: Apart from running regular diploma courses in computers, tailoring & cutting, and maintaining a library, Anhad Community Centre actively organizes interactions with poets, writers, scientists, and activists.
On July 19, 2024, the Centre hosted an Evening of Poetry at its library space. The event was a vibrant gathering of poets, local people, and youth volunteers.
Poets who recited their works included Abdul Ahad Hami, Adil Ashraf, Athar Tahir Lolabi, Elyas Armaan, Gauhar Raza, Khurshid Tabish, Maqbool Nadeem, Rashid Manzoor, and Zahida Zareen.
Anhad Community Centre continues to be a hub for intellectual discourse, promoting poetry, science, and humanity.
