Ramban, July 19 : In its unwavering commitment to combating terrorism, the Ramban Police have taken decisive action by booking Ghulam Nabi, son of Abdul Rehman Chandail, a resident of Bhimdassa, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban. He has been placed under preventive detention due to his involvement in anti-national and anti-social activities in Gool and its surrounding areas. This measure reflects our steadfast resolve to ensure the safety and security of our community.

Acting on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police District Ramban, a comprehensive dossier on Ghulam Nabi was meticulously prepared and forwarded to the District Magistrate Ramban for approval. The case was subsequently processed, and upon obtaining the necessary sanction from the competent authority under Section 8 of the Public Safety Act (PSA) 1978, Ghulam Nabi was detained under the PSA and lodged in District Jail Jammu. This decisive action underscores our relentless commitment to safeguarding our region against threats to national security.
