Pays tribute to soldiers killed in the attack

Srinagar, July 16:- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday expressed deep anguish over the attack on Army soldiers and Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) personnel in the Doda district.

The attack, which resulted in the loss of brave soldiers, has drawn widespread condemnation and calls for justice.

“I am deeply anguished to learn about the cowardly attack on our Army soldiers and JKP personnel in Doda district. Tributes to brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice protecting our nation. My deepest condolences to members of the bereaved families,” LG Sinha said.

Emphasizing the resolve to bring the perpetrators to justice, LG Sinha stated, “We will avenge the death of our soldiers and thwart the evil designs of terrorists and their associates. I call upon the people to unite in the fight against terrorism and provide us with accurate information so that we can intensify anti-terror operations and neutralize the terror ecosystem.”

It is pertinent to mention here that four soldiers were killed during exchange of fire in Doda district on Monday evening.(KS)
