Reviews arrangements enroute for smooth and peaceful conduct of the Muharram processions
SRINAGAR JULY 15:- District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Sunday late night undertook visit to 8th Muharram Procession Route from Guru Bazar to Dalgate via Budshah Kadal and M.A Road.
The District Magistrate accompanied by representatives of various Shia Associations inspected the arrangements put in place by the Administration to facilitate the mourners and ensure smooth & hassle free conduct of the 8th Muharram processions on the traditional route.
The DC/DM also inspected the stalls setup by the Shia community enroute Guru Bazar to Dalgate.
He also visited Hydari Hall Boulevard at Dalgate where 8th Muharram processions concludes.
