UDHAMPUR, JULY 12: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, chaired a meeting of officers and contractors to review the status of maintenance for PMGSY roads across the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner assured the contractors that the district administration would provide full support to ensure the timely completion and maintenance of road projects. Executive Engineers were directed to expedite the maintenance work of all PMGSY roads. She emphasized the importance of financial discipline in maintaining the project’s momentum.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed all concerned parties to address and resolve any problems or bottlenecks in the maintenance of PMGSY roads.
She directed a detailed report from AEEs regarding issues caused by local population activities and the work of other departments that might be damaging the roads.
