*July 09:* “`Police in Handwara alongwith revenue department carried out wild bhung destruction drive in Handwara.
A police party of Police Post Langate along with revenue department & NGO “Civil Society Kashmir” launched a special drive against wild bung in Ujroo Langate Handwara. During the drive wild bhung was destroyed on a vast area of land (about 35 Kanals).
The general public of Handwara have appreciated the action of the police and civil administration and has urged to continue this drive in other areas.“`
