SRINAGAR, JULY 08: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting was Monday convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi Ud Din Bhat at DC Office, here to approve Mission youth cases under Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative Scheme (SEI), Mumkin Scheme & Tejaswini Scheme.
During the meeting, 12 cases under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative Scheme (SEI) scheme, 05 cases under Mumkin scheme and 14 cases under Tejaswani scheme were approved.
The meeting threadbare discussed the importance of these self-employment initiatives in fostering youth empowerment within the district.
The DC highlighted the government’s commitment to empowering unemployed youth through these schemes, providing them with opportunities to carve a niche in society. He reiterated ongoing efforts to offer more opportunities and proper facilities, urging youth to educate themselves about and capitalize on government-sponsored schemes to realize their dreams and aspirations.
He instructed the committee to give wide publicity to these schemes so that no one is left out, and also identify the bottlenecks in implementation of these schemes.
The meeting was attended by the Committee members of DLIC including Hamida Akhter, General Manager DIC Srinagar; Fayaz Ahmad, Chief Planning Officer Srinagar; Dr.Sheeba Inayat, Dy.Director Employment Srinagar; Mukhtar Ahmad, District Social Welfare Officer Srinagar; Syed Farhana Asgar, ARTO Srinagar; Nelofar Jan, Lead District Manager Srinagar and Mubashir, JKEDI Srinagar.
