Today, a delegation of Employees Joint Action Committee(R)
led by its president Mr Babu Hussain Malik alongwith other Prominent senior trade union leaders which includes Mr. Muzafer Nabi,
Mr. Hila!
Ahmad Khan, Mr. Haji Jehangir, Mr Tartaz Ahamd Shah, Mr Fayaz Ahamd Bhat, Mr Naseer Ahmad, Mrs Shakeela Begum met with the worthy Chief Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Sri Atul duleo IAS and put forth the demands of 4.5 lac employees for redressal.
Worthy Chief
Secretary gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that all the genuine demands of employees will be resolved soon. The meeting focused on several critical issues faced by the employees of Jammu and Kashmir.
The key issues discussed were:
1. Regularization of Daily wagers/casual lahours/Need base workers Spo,
Anganwarl, Ashaworkers, Agriculture, Forest,
Muncipal TLC, HDF,
Khidmat centre, land donors, Rehbar Khel, Rehbar Janglat, wild life , PHE ,PDD, helpers to supervisors and all other daily rated workers of Jammu and Kashmir.
2. Release of GP fund /leave salary, commutation and other pensioner benefits of retired employees pending at treasuries.
3, Enhancement of Medical Allowance and HRA in favour of all employees of Jammu and Kashmir at par with the other union territories of the country.
4. Removal of Pay anomalies of various cadres of different departments
5. Holding of DPC of various cadres in different Departments of Jammu and Kashmir .
6. Restoration of Old pension Scheme
7. Disposal of Pending Cases of BRO-43.
8. Creation of one separate department for clerical cadre on the pattern of Accounts and planning cadre having common seniority.
