Today, the department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Mandi has organised Inter-School Zone Level Competition for Girl Students at BSF ground Rajpura, Mandi

The Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Mandi organized an Inter-School Zone Level Competition for Girl Students at BSF Ground Rajpura, Mandi. The event brought together girl students from various schools in Zone Mandi, competing in the under 14 years age category across multiple sports disciplines including volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, and chess. A total of 304 enthusiastic girl students participated in this exciting competition, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.

The prestigious event was graced by the presence of Commandant 54 BN BSF, Sh. Das Raj Singh, accompanied by H.S Saini, 2IC 54 BN BSF Mandi, and his wife as Guest of Honour and Special Guest respectively. The esteemed officers commended the Youth Services and Sports Department for organizing such significant events that not only benefit the students but also contribute positively to society. Commandant 54 BN BSF emphasized the importance of engaging students in sports activities as a means to address social issues such as drug abuse.

The Competition was held under the guidance of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Poonch, Mr. Mool Raj Uttam, and supervised by Zonal Physical Education Officer Mandi, S. Rajinder Singh. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed REK efficiently managed the proceedings as the stage secretary, ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.

The presence of the entire field staff of Zone Mandi added to the vibrancy of the occasion, with their support and dedication contributing to the success of the competition. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and competitive spirit as the talented girl students showcased their abilities in various sports disciplines, striving for excellence and displaying exemplary sportsmanship.
