Srinagar, June 14: A teenage girl hanged herself to death in her home at Harwan area of Srinagar late on Thursday evening, officials said.
They told said that an 18-year-old girl (name withheld) hanged herself to death at her home in Harwan Srinagar yesterday evening.
“After spotted hanging from a ceiling, her family members rushed to nearest hospital where doctors declared her as dead on arrival,” They said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigations to find out the reasons that forced the girl to take extreme steps.(KS)
