BANDIPORA, JUNE 08: In order to take firsthand appraisal of preparation for the upcoming Eid ul Adha celebrations, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Saturday conducted field visits to several key religious sites including Ahamshareef, Markazi Eidgah, Bandipora.
The visit was aimed to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for a peaceful and joyous observance of the festival.
During the visit to Ahamshareef Shrine and Markazi Eidgah Bandipora, the DC inspected the facilities and took firsthand appraisal of the preparations for accommodating the large number of worshippers expected during Eid prayers.
He emphasized sanitation measures, crowd management strategies, electricity, medical facilities, security measures, and overall readiness of the venues.
The DC also interacted with the representatives of Waqf Board, Auqaaf Committee members and community representatives, and took their suggestions and feedback.
He directed the concerned to take all necessary measures in advance for hassle free Eid ul Adha celebrations.
During the visit, the DC was accompanied by ASP, AD FCS&CA, Tehsildar Bandipora, Ex.Engineers of Jal Shakti and PDD besides other concerned.
