SSP Shopian held an interactive session with newly appointed PSIs at DPL Shopian

June 06“Sr. Superintendent of Police Shopian Ms. Tanushree-IPS held an interactive session with newly appointed PSIs who were attached with district Shopian for practical training at recreation Hall of District Police Lines Shopian.

The newly appointed PSIs attached with district Shopian for 6 weeks for district practical training were imparted training cum awareness regarding different aspects of policing including working at Police Stations/Posts, Police Components, DPO, DPL, CCTNS, Cyber Cell, Women Cell, Election Cell etc.

After the culmination of the said course, a debriefing cum feedback session was held by worthy SSP Shopian during which different aspects of training, importance of police department and challenges ahead were highlighted. SSP Shopian further advised all the trainees to work hard with devotion, dedication and learn the basics of policing. She stressed to maintain highest level of integrity and discipline which is basic requirement of Police Department. She asserted that the main objective of District training was best grooming of trainee officers by enhancing their capabilities and professionalism to face the day today challenges of Crime and Criminal Network. She also advised trainees to become tech savvy and stressed on use of technology.

During interaction, SSP Shopian also advised trainees to keep themselves physically fit and take part in games as there is “sound mind in a sound body”. At the end of the session, SSP Shopian extended her best wishes to the trainee officers for their career in Police Department.

On the occasion, Addl. SP Shopian Shri Shukat Rafiq-JKPS, Shri Akshat Ayush IPS (P), DySP Hqrs Shopian Shri Syed Javaid-JKPS, DySP DAR Shopian Shri Javaid Ahmad-JKPS & others officers/ officials of DPL Shopian were present.“`
