Crackdown on blackmarketeers- Police recovered Illicit petrol, diesel & kerosene in Baramulla, 2 accuseds arrested

Baramulla, June 3: In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, Police in Baramulla recovered illicit petrol & diesel from villages Wailoo Kralpora & Souchpalpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pattan and arrested accused persons involved in the commission of crime.

Police Station Pattan received a specific information regarding the sale of illicit Petrol & kerosene. Accordingly, a police party of headed by SHO Pattan conducted raid at specific location in village Wailoo Kralpora. During raid, police party recovered 70 litres of illicit petrol & 50 litres of illicit kerosene from the spot. The accused person involved in the commission of crime has been identified as Bashir AHmad Bhat son of Sonaullah Bhat resident of Wailoo Kralpora. He has been arrested and shifted to PS where he remains in custody.
Similarly, Police Station Pattan received a specific information regarding the sale of illicit Petrol & diesel. Accordingly, a police party of headed by SHO Pattan conducted raid at specific location in village Souchpalpora. During raid, police party recovered 20 litres of illicit petrol & 15 litres of illicit diesel from the spot. The accused person involved in the commission of crime has been identified as Peer Sharief-ud-din son of Gh Mohi-ud-Din resident of Souchpalpora. He has been arrested and shifted to PS where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, case FIRs under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Pattan and investigation has been initiated.
Police urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or illegal practices they come across. Such information can be crucial in curbing criminal activities and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
