Srinagar, Jun 2 : Around 60 to 70 terrorists are currently active on launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC), according to Director General of Police Rashmi Ranjan Swain. Despite the adversary’s degraded capability, Pakistan continues to send men and material into Jammu and Kashmir.

Swain provided an overall assessment of the security situation along the border, noting that Indian security forces are making it increasingly difficult for adversaries to succeed. He confirmed the presence of foreign terrorists and emphasized the need for sustained vigilance.
